The study, which was presented at the World Congress of Neurology in Dubai last month, aimed to investigate the effects of the Mollii suit on chronic pain. 200 patients with fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease and various other pain-associated conditions were included. The patients wore the electrostimulation suit for one hour and the pain levels were compared before, immediately after and 24 hours after, using a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The results from the study showed a significant reduction of perceived pain immediately after the intervention and the effect was partially still present 24 hours later.
